The last time we saw Mr. Kanakala in a horror movie, it was the well received Anando Brahma with Tapsee Pannu.

The horror of April 28 Em Jarigindi is some of the most horrifying acting we've seen lately, combined with some very poor editing and hardly convincing plot.

Could it the undoubtedly limited budget be used in filming in a creepy mansion rather than a resort bungalow? Could it have been used in seeking out a Telugu speaking girl-next-door rather than Bollywood eye-candy? Could the contrived ending have been avoided?

It could. But, horror of horrors, it didn't.
