Mohan's Measure ⭐⭐

Touted as a horror comedy, Annabelle Sethupathi is more a fantasy. Combining elements of Tamil screwball comedy with something straight out of Disney, it weaves the tale of a common thief who finds she is the incarnation of a princess and saves a cursed palace.

Our curse is the painful flashback in which we are to convince that a Vada Chennai kāran is a Maharaja, and a Punjabi actress, no matter how good she is, can be Meghan Markle.

Thankfully, the always classy Jagapathi Babu makes the mark. Sadly, try though it does, the movie doesn't.
