Mohan's Measure ⭐⭐⭐

A visually challenged young woman who can see when wearing her contacts, a man who is deaf but can speak, and another man who can hear but can't speak. Sounds more like a limerick than the lead cast of a movie.  But, it works, thanks to a good plot and Ms. Pethuraj's believable acting.

What I find likable in this movie is how understated the disabilities are portrayed. Yes they are there, yes they hinder and/or strenghthen the trio of heroes. But, there is no time not room for us to feel sorry for themselves. They are here to take on the world, and they will, if they escape a crazy cop and an equally crazy small-done godfather.

How they do it is both clever and funny, albeit rushed in this relatively short movie. But, there is a seup for what will be a worthwhile sequel.
