Mohan's Measure ⭐⭐⭐

It's a story so whimsical, it has to be true. In 2014, three young boys from Pattna ran away to Delhi on a mission only achievable in a child's imagine, capture the infamous Dawood Ibrahim. This caught the attention of same director who brought us Agent Sai Srinivasa Atreya, who decided to make this clever family thriller. 

The movie story is set in a fictional village outside Tirupati, and the boys are named Raghupathi, Raghava, and Rajaram - RRR, for short. They are played by first-time actors with disheveled hair and wide-eyed excitement. Their acting is so believable, we can forgive the over the top plot, in which they are set as bait by a lady cop to bring down a human trafficking ring.

The cop is played by Tapsee, who comes across frumpy in her colored hair and mismatched wardrobe. Her poor lip sync only adds to the obvious discomfort in playing a side role to grammar school boys.

But, let me speak in endorsing this whimsical, albeit sloppy, family film.
