Mohan's Measure ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It must be said at the outset how nice it is to see Keerthi Suresh as an actress, again. Outside the histrionic and eye-candy roles of the other studios, Ms. Shetty plays Madhavi, an intelligent, sensitives woman who is also a driven defense lawyer.  Her first big case is brought to her by a friend, to defend a man charged with raping his employee, a woman who loves him. 

What makes the case all the more complicated is the prosecuting attorney her husband. Mr. Thomas as Mathew is a soft spoken, gentlemanly, supportive husband who loves his wife ceaselessly. But, this is his first big case, too,  as Public Prosecutor, and he has to win if he is to move up in his career. 

The moral dilemma takes the high road as a dysfunctional relationship brings irreconcilable differences in the lives of an otherwise happy couple. 

The comedy of Adam's Rib is replaced with a drama filled with emotion, both direct and subtle, as we recognize how ego and false pride stand in the way of happiness, for everyone.
