Mohan's Measure ⭐⭐⭐

Varsha Bollamma, at times, reminds us of Nazriya in her acting and demeanor. This is good because, at times, Swathi Muthyam 2022 reminds us of a Malayalam film.  It is a simple romance between two simple people, living out middle class lives in a simple midsize town. The whole thing is so...well...simple.

Had this truly been a Malayalam movie, there would not be need of much more of a story. But, this is Tollywood, mere dosth, where even a small town story needs big city complications. 

For you see our leading man is such a good man, he would do anything to make others happy.  And, Brother, when I say anything, I mean anything. 

As Fate would have it, the results of his good deeds arrives as his surrogate baby. Needless to say, it results in a motherlode of problems, and but the New York style quirkiness makes the rest of the movie a really fun time. 

While the lead actors offer little in the way of memorable performances, Rao Ramesh's ascorbic and Naresh's looks of utter disbelief which make this something to watch with your own brood.
