Mohan's Measure ⭐⭐⭐

It is ironic that in an age of virtual reality and social media friendships, people want proof for the Sacred. We will believe it when we see it, they'll proclaim. The Wise say, however, you are seeing It, the proof is right before your eyes.

Based on actual studies, Ram Sethu is a family friendly, Indiana Jones-like adventure, replete with comedy, bad guys and mystical connection to the Sacred.

Surrounded by a bevy of belles, Mr. Kumar displays his usual ''tough dude operating outside the system'' demeanor which could easily pass for an egotistical archaeologist.  But, his acting offers nothing more than that, except in his powerful soliloquy at the end.

Making the movie magic work, however is Satyadev, as the mysterious but comical AP. This is the first time I have seen the actor in a comedic role and he does it justice. Personally, however, I found myself having to grin and bear the Madrasi stereotypes.

But, with a little bit of Chennai Express, and lots of Indiana, Ram Sethu manages to provide a strong message in an entertaining movie.
