Mohan's Measure ⭐⭐

It would have taken some work for the two Hollywood Divas to put on some ponds and layer on clothes to look obese in this picture.  Too bad the scriptwriters didn't put in this much effort on the plot. 

Indeed, we really find ourselves scratching our heads at what this movie is really trying to say. Is it about two women being rejected by the world because they are obese? Or is it about two women who find themselves and romance in Europe like in Eat, Pray, Love? Or it's about breaking the glass ceiling? 

It appears to be all three at once, and this is what makes this film feel shallow. Devoid of real meaning, the movie focuses on the two women are still seductive to a couple of guys who are obviously younger than them. To rub salt in the wound, one turns out to be a pot-smoking Madrasi. 

Their acting requires more than these lost little boys circling around the leads like puppy dogs, even at the cost of their own dignity. Hmmm...kinda reminds me of women in Telugu movies. 

Language no bar, trite Hindi and Tamil humor manages to extract a chuckle or two, but not enough to make us say we enjoyed the movie.
