It may be hard to believe, but ancient cultures had no concept of religion a few hundred years ago.   Before that, we were all human beings, each following some predefined or original way of connecting with the Sacred.  This is a lesson that the Sharma family needs to learn, along with the beautiful bonds of love that tie a family together.

Director/Writer Acharya's movie may not be rocket science, but it is a clean, engaging, family drama with elements of romance and comedy thrown in to complete the circle. The subject of faith in personal identity is treated with a due amount of respect, albeit the solution to the issue is offered with the expected melodrama. 

The age old tensions, ongoing wars, even the inevitable violence, is carefully avoided in the controversial subject.  But, tis the Season for faith, family, community, and hope, after all.  Let us rejoice in it.
