Mohan's Measure ⭐⭐⭐

If you let your imagination run with you, you will swear Hrithik and Deepika are Tom and Kelley.  Indeed, Fighter is Bollywood's apologetic for Top Gun.  But, one really needn't apologize, because the movie is actually pretty good in its own right.

It offers a predictable story about a predictable enemy, along with its display of six-packed men and the spunky, sexy women they love.  But, it is in the impressive cinematography, including some of the best CGI fights we've seen in Bollywood, that fighter comes out with a bang.

Hats off to Mr. Roshan and Mr. Kapoor for carrying off their otherwise trite lines with believability. And, additional hats off to the fashion designers for some impressive military uniforms.  As for everything else, thanks to directors of the original Top Gun.
