Jamuna Prasad Pandey is faced with a crisis.  He has received 1.4 Lakhs for compensation for the untimely loss of his parents in a flood.  The crisis is that his parents are very much alive and with him. 

Kanjoos Makhichoos is a dark comedy and satire on government bureaucracy and corruption.  This doesn't make it unique among Bollywood cinema.  What does is that it is so family friendly.  Except for a few swear words - which too are mispronounced - this movie emphasizes all that is good in family.  Honesty, respect, love, truth, all are brought out in a way that turns a dark comedy in to a fun filled good time for the whole family.
