A gripping thriller, I am surprised that this movie escaped my watch for this long. A single phone call to a police call center puts a cop into midst of drugs, poetic justice, and revenge.

Manoj Bajpayee takes Dial 100 as both it's narrator and protagonist, weaving the tale as much as suffering through it. Ms. Gupta is dark and understated as the psychopathic villain. The others help support the story, but the limitations in their acting styles is obvious.

What weakens this film further is the fact that the intellectuality of the first half is replaced with violence in the second. How I wish, much like the characters in the movie, that this had not been the case.
