We find out somewhat late that Eakam is the name of a book written by one of the five leads. It is said to have an answer to every question.  If so, perhaps it can explain what the heck this movie is about.

The plot is like a bad flashback to the 1960s, with a little gangster side plot thrown in to keep our attention. The story switches between a trailer home covered with sticky notes and a trendy coffee shop that has only one customer, but 4 employees, one of them the gangster.  In addition, there is crazy priest who whiles his time away in a graveyard.

And at the end of a non sequential plot comes a totally non sequitur conclusion. I suppose we are to understand God's Mysterious Hand in it all. But doesn't mean a movie plot should be so thin to be mysterious itself.

The Telugu Film industry has made an effort to enter the art world, but is probably better staying out of it.
