I should have seen it. Rajkummar, Sanya, Netflix - a setup for a disaster. Toaster is a screwball comedy about a cheapskate who wants a return of an expensive wedding gift when the wedding is called off. Certainly, it's in poor taste, but so is the rest of film.

It turns out that the kitchen appliance somehow became the storage device to hold incriminating evidence about a local politician and a neighbor to said cheapskate. Like no one has ever heard of the cloud?! This, of course, overrides anything about keeping this out of the world of murder and bloodshed.

Murky and creepy becom the norm as the chump now becomes a boy toy to the old hag, and a corrupt cop joins the chase to find the runaway kitchen gadget.

No tables are left unturned as innuendo after ugly innuendo is offered in order to keep this away from an "A" rating.

One wonders what sort of perverted minds at Netflix come up with stuff like this? I mean it's almost as bad as burnt toast.

I think you can let this toaster fly by.
